Company director Tony Lennon has written to customers, Louis Vuitton handbags taking issue with the Roads and Maritime Authority's claims that most of his fleet had illegal modifications.
He says the accident was a tragedy of the highest order, but independent tests have only found one truck breaking regulations.
During the blitz, police told media a mobile phone was found in an abandoned truck, with a text message telling a driver not to return to depot.
Mr Lennon's letter, published on the Lennons website, denies that report.
"It is untrue that a Lennons driver was found with a mobile phone message urging him not to return to the base because of the inspections," the letter says.
"This truck had already been inspected at Marulan NSW and therefore did not need to return to the depot which was already totally congested."As a result the State Emergency Service recommends that residents and businesses within North Darlington Point,Louis Vuitton bags Darlington Point and surrounding areas are to evacuate by 5pm," it said in an evacuation order issued today.
The move follows an evacuation preparation warning early this morning.

The flooding has claimed a life, with the body of an elderly man found in floodwaters at Bourke in western NSW.
That follows the discovery of a Nissan utility vehicle partially submerged in floodwaters on a farm property on Friday afternoon.
Farm workers realised the vehicle belonged to the farm's 83-year-old caretaker, who had not been seen since 7am (AEDT).
The man's body was found submerged about 20 metres from the vehicle.
